The Lino's & Co. 2020 desk calendar was born from the desire to approach the theme of graphic design as a playful, almost childish exercise. Using the LUDO font (designed by Alessandro Bombieri, see the Cantiere Nuova Didattica project), the calendar was an experiment in investigating shapes and letters, appearance and meaning. Each month is a typographic composition that, maintaining the reading order, is an attempt to evoke suggestions of concepts, shapes, colors from the subjective point of view of the viewer. Composed of 15 cards printed on the front on Fedrigoni Materica Gesso paper coupled with Fedrigoni Sirio Color Black. Each calendar has its own wooden support painted and hand-engraved by the artisans of Reverse Lab (Verona).
The calendar has a print run of 100 numbered copies.
